I like using 21mm for VR work, the composites are nice and clean … but it’s just too many shots to get full coverage (is minimum of 18 shots to get coverage for what I’m doing).
The 6-8 mm is nice, but it looks like crap and the VR solves are trash.
I btw did a test using 35mm master prime anamorphics, that was way too much of a beast and had tons of thin slices(looks nice though).
So I think I’m going to do the rest of the films vr at 15mm when I’m doing a 360 shot. It’s a nice compromise and the smallest I can go and still stay more or less rectilinear (at least I’m not getting a spherical image like I do with a 6mm lens).
